Besançon Grandes Heures Nature - Parcours - Circuit de la colline de Planoise

The weather conditions of the last few years, combined with the appearance of parasitic attacks, have had a major impact on the trees in the forest and on the hills of Bisonne. On the Planoise hill, as elsewhere, the trees, mainly ash and beech, have become particularly brittle and constitute a significant danger for walkers. In this context, work is planned to cut down dangerous trees along the roads and paths of the Planoise hill from 7 to 11 February 2022. However, some of these dying trees are located on steep slopes where felling them would be extremely dangerous for the staff of the Biodiversity and Green Spaces Department of the City of Besançon or any company likely to carry out this work. For this reason, the decision has been taken to permanently close to the public certain portions of the path that cannot be made safe (map attached). Appropriate signage will be put in place once the work is completed and a diversion route will be proposed.

Un parcours assez sportif d'un dénivelé de 250 m pour découvrir sur le versant sud de la colline les nombreuses traces d'anciennes cultures en terrasse. Au nord, un cheminement forestier permet la liaison avec le parc urbain.
